Clarification!

This contest is open to everyone! This will be available to our line for girls and guys Havaianas flip-flops. Girls, if you have a great idea for a flip-flop for a guy, submit it! Any budding fashion savvy guys that have a creative idea for a girls flip-flop, submit it!

We want you to be able to express your creativity any way you want to!

Also you can submit any amount of flip-flop creations as you want to as long as as the contest is still open to submissions!

Now that you have had a chance to see some of the things we will be offerening in the contest, we are interested in what you think. We want to make this perfect and give you creative freedom to create your dream pair of Havaiana flip flops!

We want to create a tool that you would want to use! Give us feedback on what you want so we can create it for you!

If you want to have swirls, snowflakes or glitter as an option, let us know! We are open to anything!

The contest will begin soon, so keep brainstorming and checking back here to know updates!

I know you are all desperately awaiting for the Create your own pair of Havaiana flip-flops contest to begin, so to get your creative juices flowing, here is an example of some of the effects you can use to create your flip-flops!

This is the before picture of a pair of white Havaiana flip-flops.

This is the after picture! We used our tools that we will be offering to you guys to create the look for these flip-flops! Here is a taste of one of the things you can do with the create your own pair of Havaiana flip-flops! Now that you see an example start brainstorming to make a pair of your own!

Rules of the Competition!

I know you are all looking forward to being able to make your own version of your favorite flip-flops so to get you ready here is a basic outline of how the contest will work!

We will have a design contest for all of you to be able to create your own flip-flop and nominate it to be made and sold in the next season’s flip-flop line. There will be options for you to upload a picture that you have created and impose it onto a flip flop, or there will also be design techniques on the website for you to use to create a flip flop.

The design techniques will be well advanced with options to change the color of the strap and bottom as well as many different symbols to put on the top of the flip-flop. You will be able to fade the symbols and overlap them to create a creative flip-flop. With the ‘create your own flop’ tool you will be able to create a flip-flop even if you do not have Photoshop on your computer.

The different flip-flops will be voted on by other viewers that go to our website. The flip-flops will be voted then displayed as the top ten flip flops which will be narrowed down to five by voting to be manufactured.

There will only be an option of I love it!, It is good! Or I think I like a different one. With these options we will be able to view the votes and rank the top flip-flops.

Havaianas flip-flops are all about expressing your style through your flip-flops with many different creative options to wear.

Here at Havaianas, we want to involve YOU in the create process by having you design your own flip flop or vote on your favorite one! We will then take the top five designs and use that for the next line of Havaianas flip-flops we will sell in stores!
